Prime Minister of Italy is the Head of the Government of Italian Republic. The office was established in year 1848 in the Kingdom of Saridinia, the Albertine Statute. The Prime Minister of Italy has no authority to dismiss ministers and vote of approval is required from Council of Ministers which holds effective executive power for the execution of most of the political activities. After each general election, President of the Republic appoints the Prime Minister of Italy. The Prime Minister of Italy is officially the President of the Council of Ministers of Italian Republic.
