Indian Army Chief

Indian army chief is the highest ranking officer of Indian Army. Indian army chief also known as Chief of the Army Staff. General Bikram Singh is currently holding the prestigious position in Indian Army. Mr Singh is the 27th Chief Of Army Staff after the retirement of General V. K. Singh. He joined the army in 1972 and till now he served in various Army offices. He spent most of his service in Jammu and Kashmir and also received many honorable awards such as Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal. I feel very proud about our men has done a good job at uttarakhand flood, I am also NCC trained candidate. why should utilise our voulantary service at the time of emergency
Now a days a common man also must have basic army training It is useful at the time emergencney
