The Glasgow Royal Infirmary is a huge training hospital, managed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, having a capability of about 1000 beds, the hospital campus is located in area of about 20 acres on the edge of the City Center of Glasgow, Scotland. Developed by Robert and James Adam, the initial Royal Infirmary building was started out in December 1794. The infirmary was built alongside Glasgow Cathedral on area that organised the remains of the Bishop's Castle. A Royal Charter was acquired in 1791, that provided the Crown possessed area to it. The unique Adams 5 story building having eight Wards and a round working space on the 4th floor with a hard dome ceiling.
