Through esteemed columns of your newspaper i would like to draw the attention of the municipal authorities of Tamil Nadu to make use of the flooded water for the future purpose. Nothing is waste in this world. Why to waste the flooded water. It is our responsibility to make proper use of what ever nature has provided to usit is well known that Tamil Nadu is facing with flood. The flood is having a serious influence on the society, make use of the flooded water, the water can be stocked for future purpose, after its purification. As Tamil Nadu faces with a great water scarcity and the saving of water will also save many many lives from dengue and other deadly diseases. It prevents loss to the government. I have one simple trick to save and collect water that is we can stimulate people to collect the water by fixing rates on the amount of water the submit. Through which people can clean their own locality and take care of our society. The cost is less that of cost.

Dear EditorI have been reading The Hindu for 50 years since 1965 Just when I turned 16 years. Since then every day after my coffee, the first act after receiving The Hindu, I will flip open the Sports page to read the Obituary. The rest of the news reading is afterwards. We are Invited for a wedding, but we get informed about some one passing away from this world through a news. Many times i have come to know the death of some one whom you know over the period of years through The Hindu Obituary page and I use to call them or send a communication sharing my condolences to the near and dear of the departed soul. Even if I am traveling i use to read this through The Hindu web page. Since March 16 Th of 2015, i find The Obituary Page of Obituary is not being up dated which saddens me very much. Is there any specific reason for this stoppage please ??I would very much appreciate if the Editor takes a note of this and restore please.
